The video game world saw the first console release of Pac-Man, one of the most legendary games of all-time, but the console version failed to live up to it's hype.  I still thought it was fun, but the controls were very messy.  I personally thought Yar's Revenge was the smash hit of the...

This particular year saw the Atari release of Space Invaders.  While Pong was the first video game and thus the first popular game, I consider Space Invaders the first popular console game, and for that it does deserve credit as it lands on our top 100.

So I was able to pick up Metal Gear Solid 4 for PS3 for only $7 or so, and it is a game I only started to play when I was able to rent it a long time ago; as such I will give it a go, but being that I don't have any sort of Gameshark or Game Genie for this game, it may take some time.  But if...
